Justin:
- Teaching at Logan High School
- Cub master for Lorin Farr 2nd ward
- Lorin Farr Stake Scout Committee Chair
- BSA Scout volunteer and district member
Justin is still a devoted dad who loves his family. He is trying to do all he can to come home and help me out with our very rambunctious children.
Mitzi:
- Stay at home mom
- Nursery leader in Lorin Farr 2nd ward
- I begged for this calling. Ryker has really been struggling with the dynamics since he is the oldest in the nursery. We were spending more time with him in nursery than either of us got in our classes. It has been two weeks and it is going smoothly.
- Still a breastfeeding advocate and natural parent (as natural as our budget allows)
- Health Scares
- I have been having issues the past few years with a fatty liver. Both times it has been discovered I went in for routine physicals and had liver function blood work done.
- I am double the count for liver enzymes per gram , or however it is measured.
- I have been advised to lower my animal fat content and focus on low, healthy plant fats. I also have to completely cut out high fructose corn syrup. If I can not get my liver count down, I am headed on the road for some hard times.
- Doctor also advised exercise.
- I have been striving to do the 21 Day Fix. I am too lazy to do the food portion of the program. I admire all the moms who make this happen!
- I am also needing a heart monitor to find out what is wrong with my heart missing beats.
Ryker:
- Still just as busy as ever! For his recent WIC appointment, he weighed 33 lbs and was 37.5 inches tall.
- Ryker is still a very healthy little man. He loves to pretend that he is a rescue-bot, superhero, or bulldozer. He even tried being a front loader.
- Favorite foods are pizza, tofu, and he loves mozzarella cheese. He loves oranges, apples, and avocados. Recently he has shown an interest in lettuce and spinach.
- Favorite shows have been rescue-bots, bob the builder, mickey mouse clubhouse, and recently bubble guppies.
Lorelai:
- 7 months and growing!
- At her 6 month appointment she weighed 16.5 lbs and was 26.75 inches tall.
- She has been introduced to all kinds of food. She hates purees, especially pureed meat. She loves baby-led weaning and it helps all of us with feeding her. She still prefers breast milk over everything.
- Lorelai is almost a crawling baby! She sits really well and has figured out how to scoot her bum across the floor to get what she wants.
- Lorelai loves pets! Now that there are two dogs in the house and still our beautiful cat, she is always entertained and getting lots of kisses.
- She is still our toothless beauty and she loves to show off her grin!
- Lorelai has a natural Mohawk that is about 4 inches long. The rest of her hair is about an inch... We love her so much!
Suki still rules the roost. We recently got her a self-cleaning litter box and she rebelled. We got the behavior issues under control. She is a snuggler every night, and hides/sleeps all day,
Pretty exciting news for us: We are nearly debt free! Still dealing with a house on the market and a van that recently needed lots of repairs. However, no credit debt here!
We are all doing pretty well, and look forward to what the new year is bringing with it.
